Richard
Metzner
During Richard’s distinguished marketing career, he has served
as President of Brierley & Partners, the company that pioneered the
practice of Customer Relationship Management. One of the founders of the
firm, Richard established and built Brierley’s highly regarded strategy
practice, and served for a number of years as Senior Vice President of
Strategy.
Richard has spent the past 20 years in a variety of marketing and strategic
roles and has been recognized as both a Brandweek “Marketer of the
Year” and as one of Advertising Age’s “Marketing 100.”
After graduating from Harvard Business School, Richard began his career
as a financial analyst at American Airlines and, later, served as a marketing
planner at Western Airlines. From 1995 to 2000, Richard was Vice President
– Marketing for Continental Airlines, with oversight of the airline’s
advertising, direct marketing, product development, research, CRM and
Internet efforts.

Howard
Schneider
Howard served as Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer
for Brierley & Partners from 1995 to 2002. In that post he was responsible
for the supervision of global creative support for all agency clients,
as well as participating as a member of the agency’s strategy review
board and executive committee. He joined Brierley in 1988, and helped
manage the company’s growth and evolution from a startup direct
marketing agency to a $300 mm multimedia CRM leader.
He has served clients in industries including travel, retail, entertainment,
e-commerce, online services, insurance, banking, publishing and telecommunications.
He has held a number of creative leadership positions at agencies including
Direct Marketing Corporation of America, Response Plus and Cohn &
Wells/LA, where he served as Creative Director and General Manager.
Prior to joining the agency community, Howard held various marketing
management positions in the entertainment industry, including Nehi Record
Distributors, Integrity Entertainment and Interleisure Corp. Winner of
numerous awards for creative achievement, Howard is a frequent speaker
at industry conferences, an instructor at the DMA Southern California/Loyola
Marymount University Direct Marketing School, and Past President of the
Direct Marketing Creative Guild, West.

Kate Hogenson
Kate is a highly-qualified senior professional, a talented marketing
manager who brings us expertise in strategic planning, extensive experience
in relationship management, direct and interactive marketing, strong analytical
skills, brand management experience and an impressive track record of
producing sustained results in competitive markets.
She has an extensive background in multiple business categories including
airlines, wireless and land-line telecommunications, online retailing,
luxury hotels, insurance and consumer packaged goods. Her career has included
marketing management positions with Procter and Gamble, Ameritech, where
she was responsible for customer retention, and United Airlines, where
she managed international customer acquisition and retention for the Mileage
Plus frequent flyer program. Kate also served as Senior Director, Strategy
and Account Planning, for Brierley & Partners.
Kate's academic achievements are no less impressive; she holds a Master
of Business Administration degree from the Yale School of Management,
and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Northwestern University.

Laura Siegfried
Having held positions at client companies, advertising and direct marketing agencies and consulting firms, Laura is an accomplished professional with over fifteen years’ experience in the development, implementation and management of strategic marketing programs.
With expertise in marketing analysis, research, database management and customer communications, Laura has demonstrated skill and leadership in successfully integrating the various marketing components. Her career includes positions as Director of Customer Marketing for Shaw's Supermarkets, Director of Brand Development for Pyro, a division of The Richards Group; Vice President of Account Strategy for Brierley+Partners; Senior Manager of Relationship Marketing for Bell Atlantic; Market Planning Manager for American Airlines; and Associate Consultant at Bain & Company.

Margy Bloom
Margy has an impressive track record of innovation and creative leadership. Prior to joining the MSA Team, she served as Chief Creative Officer of Direct Partners and as Senior VP/Creative Director at Brierley + Partners. During her career she has produced results for clients including United Airlines, Sony, Earthlink, Neiman Marcus, AOL Time Warner, AT&T, Allstate, Four Seasons Hotels, Sprint and many others.
Margy has extensive experience developing and executing creative strategy and effective customer communications in media including broadcast, print mail, email, the web, print and collateral. She is an accomplished professional, equally adept at customer acquisition, activation, retention and loyalty programs. She is skilled at aligning strategic business goals with brand messaging to create highly motivating marketing communications – to the most demanding quality requirements, on time and on budget.
Added to her experience is her participation in the Omnicom University, an elite “finishing school” for industry leaders where executives representing the range of marketing disciplines work together to hone their skills. Dorothy Rosen
Dorothy, a specialist in customer loyalty programs and direct marketing, brings MSA a wealth of experience and an extraordinary track record in managing complex client relationships for leading global marketers. Prior to joining our team, Dorothy ran her own company, Maxema Marketing; served as President of Agency Services for Protocol Marketing, and was Senior Vice President, General Manager of loyalty pioneer Brierley+Partners in Chicago, where she spent over eleven years.
In her marketing career, she has led agency relationships for Allstate, American Eagle Outfitters, Ameritech, Amoco, Ann Taylor, Citicorp, Diners Club, First Chicago, Four Seasons, Sears, Sprint, United Airlines and Valero. Her experience spans financial, retail, travel, insurance, package goods, and telecommunications industries.
A sought-after speaker at marketing and professional conferences, Dorothy has been married to her first husband, Steve, for over a quarter of a century and has two children, Max 20 (now a resident of Mesa, Arizona) and Emma (17, a senior at Evanston Township High School). The Rosen family loves to travel together. Dorothy is an avid reader, beader, and novice tennis player.

Sarah Marsh
Sarah brings MSA a wealth of strategic and analytical skills, along with a track record of innovation in customer engagement; practical hands-on experience managing marketing and fulfillment operations; and a mastery of interactive and new media marketing.
Sarah recently served as Manager of Virgin America’s innovative loyalty program, Elevate. She was responsible for overall direction of the program, including its development, launch, customer acquisition and activation, and deployment of a state-of-the-art CRM platform and loyalty solution. Previously, Sarah was Manager of Marketing and Analytics for The Discovery Channel – COSMEO.COM, where she developed and executed a multichannel marketing plan to launch Discovery’s online video subscription product. She also spent several years as Operations Manager for McMaster-Carr Supply Company, and worked as an operations intern for Amazon.com.
Having developed analytics to measure marketing campaign effectiveness, created comprehensive web analytics to monitor customer behavior and value, managed the integration of complex marketing partnerships with companies including Dell, Sears and Bally Fitness, selected and supervised CRM technology providers and supervised as many as fifty employees, Sarah is perfectly positioned to support MSA’s clients. An accomplished musician and avid swimmer, she earned her BA degree in both Economics and Chemistry from Swarthmore College, and her MBA from Harvard Business School.

Melinda Risolo
Melinda is a highly accomplished strategist, creative director and copywriter.
She has created winning campaigns, including highly successful control pieces, for clients including Countrywide Home Loans, Full Spectrum Lending, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America and others. She has served as Vice President, Creative Director of Response Plus, a full service direct response agency in Los Angeles ; as VP/Creative Director of Direct Marketing Corporation of America , a pioneer in the direct marketing of financial services and insurance products; and as Creative Services Manager for publisher and membership organization, the Good Sam Club.
Melinda has won numerous awards for creative and business achievement, including ECHOs, LULUs and Gold, Silver and Best of Show Pioneer Awards, She has been a member of the LADMA Board of Directors, and is Past President of the Direct Marketing Creative Guild.

An award winning art director, designer, and creative director, Donna has nearly 20 years of experience in direct marketing, relationship management, advertising and corporate communications.
Donna revels in the thought of expanding her horizons; always seeking new and inventive ways to capture the imagination of the consumer and motivate desired customer behaviors. She views the creative process as a true collaboration of talents working together in a seamless, well-organized fashion – delivering breakthrough work on time and in budget. She has worked in print and electronic media, in both the US and European markets. Her work has contributed to many highly successful campaigns and marketing programs in the business-to-business, business-to-consumer and not-for-profit arenas.

Bob Matteo
A veteran of Epsilon and Brierley & Partners, both pioneers in database marketing and customer loyalty, Bob adds a unique blend of expertise to our team. He is a sophisticated technologist who is equally adept at marketing strategy and account management.
Highlights of his career include managing the Hilton Senior HHonors program while at Brierley and supervising the outside database resources that housed Hilton’s HHonors program data. At Epsilon he managed the delivery of database and analytic services to several clients, including Nissan, Apple and Discover Card, and is thoroughly familiar with the technology and business requirements needed to support customer loyalty programs. Recently, before joining MSA, Bob worked as an independent consultant to Cisco Systems and Clorox, among others. Bob is a graduate of MIT.
